Golf in Bad Gastein is represented by Golf Club Gastein – one of the oldest golf clubs in Austria. It was founded in 1960 by the architect Bernhard von Limburg in the territory of the National Park “Hohe Tauern”. Initially, the field was 9 holes. 42 years later the field was expanded to 18 holes and, as the golfers repeatedly confirmed, perfectly adapted.
Spectacular, beautiful and picturesque: 18 holes of the way require full concentration, despite the majestic mountain landscapes. A successful change between hilly roads and lowland slopes makes this place so diverse and suitable for all ages and sports activities. Old trees, a lot of small mountain streams and dense alluvial forest promise not only a sporting unforgettable experience, but also peace of mind.
