The Alpe Adria Cycle Path runs from Salzburg to Grado and reaches its highest point in Bad Gastein, at the Lindenhof. In about a week you cross Salzburg, Upper Carinthia and Friuli down to the sea – mostly on dedicated bike paths, partly along a former railway line.
