The Goldbergbahn is open on two special days during the summer—on the weekend of the “Nassfelder Almfest.” The Goldbergbahn is in operation on these days. Season passes and Almorama Cards (multi-day passes) are also valid for the Goldbergbahn on the special days of the Almfest in Sportgastein.

Operating days during the Nassfelder Almfest: Saturday, August 8, and Sunday, August 9

from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

TIP: From the Goldbergbahn mountain station, it’s just a short walk to the summit cross on the Kreuzkogel at 2,686 meters. On special event days, the ascent is rewarded with a spectacular view of the surrounding mountain landscape. Come join us and experience the mountain panorama!
